When I tell you this condensed cream of mushroom soup comes together in a matter of minutes, I’m not exaggerating. There is no reason to buy, open or use processed condensed soups anymore.
Please, I’m begging you, to stop buying these products when there are no excuses to not make it yourself.
Time – takes 15 minutes
Ingredients – it takes 7 and chances are you have 6 of them already
Taste – really?
Convenience – if you consider eating a product that is full of GMOs, 5 different oils, MSG and a product that is considered an industrial waste product, then yes ok, it’s convenient. Deadly, but convenient.

FOODFACTS GRADE: F
MSG -Monosodium Glutamate is considered an excitotoxin, a substance that overstimulates neurotransmitters in the body. The exitotoxic process plays a major role in many life-threatening maladies. MSG is a dangerous additive and should be avoided. It is also listed in this soup THREE TIMES under Calcium Caseinate and Yeast Extract.
Soy Protein Concentrate – This is a chemical waste product, as a matter of fact the FDA doesn’t even recognize it as GRAS (generally regarded as safe) which as well all know, the FDA hands that label out quite freely.
- “FDA does not currently list soy protein concentrate in its regulations. However, FDA does not object to the use of soy protein concentrate at levels up to 3.5 percent. In a letter to FSIS, dated January 15 1999, FDA’s Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition said that “while FDA has not ruled formally on the generally recognized as safe (GRAS) status of soy protein, it has not challenged determinations that such use is GRAS.” Source: http://www.fsis.usda.gov/OPPDE/rdad/FRPubs/94-015DF.htm.
- But it gets worse. The soy bean itself is dangerous. Even the soy industry admits that soy products contain toxins. These toxins are usually referred to as “anti-nutrients” because they make it difficult for the body to absorb nutrients. Soy is rich in the anti-nutrient phytic acid. Phytic acid binds with iron and zinc, which are essential for the health of the brain and nervous system. That means the body can’t use the iron and zinc it has — or copper, calcium, and magnesium. Too many phytates retard growth in children.” Source: http://www.propertyrightsresearch.org/articles2/billion.htm
Soybean protein concentrate is a chemical (in my opinion) that should be avoided like the plague. When you see soy protein concentrate on the ingredients list be very careful.
